Silk Way West Airlines Expands Fleet with Purchase of Additional Boeing 777 Freighter
Baku, 18 March 2024 – Silk Way West Airlines, a leading cargo airline in the Caspian and Central Asian region, has announced an expansion of its modern and eco-friendly fleet by amending its contract with Boeing to acquire an additional Boeing 777 Freighter. The new aircraft is scheduled for delivery in 2025 and is an extension of the original agreement signed in April 2021, showcasing the airline’s dedication to sustainability in the air cargo industry.
This purchase comes as part of Silk Way West Airlines’ initial commitment to buy five Boeing 777 Freighters, with two already in operation and the rest set to be delivered by 2027.
