Kuehne+Nagel, a global logistics company, has recently unveiled plans for a new contract logistics fulfillment center located in Piscataway, New Jersey. The 100,000 sq. ft facility, situated just two miles away from Kuehne+Nagel’s current site for a luxury retail brand, will serve as a fashion hub demonstrating the company’s dedication to the fashion and luxury markets.
The new fulfillment center, designed to cater to a new fashion client, offers an additional 55,000 sq. ft of space and is strategically positioned near John F. Kennedy International airport and Port Elizabeth, making it a prime location for the fashion industry in the United States. The facility harnesses automation and robotics for efficient picking and putaway processes, while also incorporating EV charging stations and LED lighting.
Eduardo Razuck, Senior Vice President of Contract Logistics Americas for Kuehne+Nagel, expressed pride in the new site, highlighting its significance for the company’s operations in North America and alignment with their Roadmap 2026 goals for expanding e-commerce solutions. Set to launch in late-April 2024, the facility will create around 50 job opportunities within the community, further demonstrating Kuehne+Nagel’s commitment to growth and innovation in the logistics industry.
