“FreightWaves SONAR & Keelvar Transforming Freight Procurement with Real-Time Data Integration”
FreightWaves SONAR and Keelvar, a logistics software company, have joined forces to develop a robust integration tool that allows for the analysis of high-frequency supply chain data.
In a recent webinar held in October, Nick Persin, director of strategic partnerships at FreightWaves SONAR, and Dylan Alperin, VP of professional services at Keelvar, discussed the integration of SONAR’s truckload datasets into the Keelvar platform. This collaboration enables procurement professionals to make more informed decisions by accessing real-time North American road transport data within Keelvar’s platform.
According to a news release from August, the data from this integration is readily available to customers using Keelvar’s platform. By obtaining an API key from FreightWaves, customers can seamlessly leverage the features and options within Keelvar to enhance their RFP processes.
FreightWaves SONAR also offers a 90-day proof-of-value concept for prospective customers at no charge. This integration with Keelvar is described as a turnkey solution with no technical or IT requirements necessary for customers.
The integration of these two platforms aims to support businesses in running more efficient and effective RFPs. Alperin emphasized the importance of utilizing this data live in negotiations to find the best carriers on the best lanes with the best services at the right price.
With minimal effort required to set up the integration, Alperin encouraged business owners to start utilizing the tool for their truckload RFPs. He highlighted the accessibility of data and the ease of updating and refreshing it within the system, making it a valuable resource for making informed decisions in real-time.
