DB Schenker has named Aaron Scott as the new chief executive of its UK & Ireland business, taking over from Ray Hennessy who is retiring after eight years in the position. Scott, who joined the company in 2021, also serves as the executive vice president of contract logistics for region Europe. With over 28 years of experience in International Logistics and 3PL supply chain operations, Scott has worked in the Netherlands, the US, and Germany, demonstrating a strong record of leading operational teams and driving new business growth. In his new role, Scott aims to maintain the company’s commitment to customer-centric service and quality standards, focusing on modernizing practices to support current and future customer needs. Reporting to Helmut Schweighofer, chief executive of region Europe, Scott is dedicated to ensuring a smooth transition and upholding the culture of passion and energy within the business.
